Ive spent a lot of time in the last few months reminiscing about childhood and things I used to watch, read, etc. One of the main staples of my childhood was the Disney Channel, back when it first existed. Back when every weekday morning, starting at 5:30 am there would be shows like Mousercize, Duck Tales, Welcome to Pooh Corner, The Gummi Bears and old Mickey Mouse short films from the 1940s; you know, actual Disney stuff! Then came the 90s and shows like Goof Troop, Tale Spin and Adventures in Wonderland; shows with Disney characters in a more modern setting. It worked; they were cute and familiar, but different enough to draw in the kids of the day who werent familiar with the originals.
